USD: Edges Higher as Trade Headlines Weigh
The dollar gained modestly after strong durable goods data and Trump’s trade comments.

  • AUD/USD traded in a 0.6552–0.6598 range, closing near 0.6565.
  • NZD/USD dipped below 0.6000 as USD strengthened.
  • EUR/USD slipped to 1.1704 before mild recovery.
  • GBP/USD fell to 1.3417 on softer sentiment.
  • USD/CAD moved up to 1.3725; USD/JPY near 147.00.

 

AUD: Weak Tone Into Week Close
AUD/USD settled near the lower end of its range as trade uncertainty pressured risk sentiment.
