Markets Rebound on U.S. Optimism

Forex Market 

USD: Risk Sentiment Improves as Shutdown Resolution Hopes Rise
Markets opened the week on a positive note as optimism grew over a potential end to the U.S. government shutdown. Wall St. rallied with the Nasdaq +2.2%, S&P 500 +1.4%, and Dow Jones +0.7%. U.S. 10-year yields edged up to 4.11%, while Brent crude rose 0.5% to $64 a barrel. The USD softened, allowing AUD/USD to close near the top of its 0.6490–0.6540 range.
In Asia, equities climbed ahead of the U.S. Veterans Day holiday (Nikkei +1.3%, Hang Seng +1.6%), while the ASX 200 rose 0.8% led by tech (+2.4%). Europe followed suit, with major indices up around 1%, supported by dovish Fed comments suggesting a potential 50bp rate cut at the next FOMC meeting.
The USD weakened across the board, with EUR/USD reaching 1.1582, GBP/USD 1.3183, and AUD/USD touching 0.6540 highs. Gold surged +2.8% to $4,111/oz as risk sentiment lifted.
