The U.S. dollar strengthened overnight as higher Treasury yields and cautious sentiment drove demand for safe havens.
- AUD/USD traded between 0.6508–0.6575, settling near 0.6512.
- NZD/USD slipped to 0.5960.
- EUR/USD hit lows at 1.1601.
- GBP/USD dropped to 1.3380.
- USD/JPY surged to 148.80.
- USD/CAD traded around 1.3695 after volatility on CPI data.
AUD: Pressured by Strong USD
AUD retreated as global risk sentiment soured and the dollar firmed post-U.S. CPI. Offers remain heavy near 0.6600, with support at 0.6400.
