AUD: RBA Decision in Focus; USD Firms Late Session
FX markets were choppy through the session as strong U.S. manufacturing data and renewed USD strength offset early risk-on sentiment. The AUD/USD traded within a 0.69085–0.69709 range, finding support ahead of 0.6900 before retreating late to around 0.6953 as the USD strengthened into the NY close.
USD demand picked up after stronger-than-expected S&P Global and ISM Manufacturing PMIs, while late-session flows pushed EUR/USD and GBP/USD back to fresh daily lows. The DXY finished firmer near 97.7.
