USD: Mixed Data Keeps USD Volatile, Post-CPI Softness Lingers

- GBP/USD touched 1.3319 before paring gains
- USD/CAD rose through 1.4000 to 1.4004
- USD/JPY fell to 145.42 before recovering
AUD: Brief Lift on Jobs Beat, Fades with Broad USD Strength
AUD/USD rallied on stronger-than-expected April employment data (+89k vs 22.5k exp.), but gains were short-lived as U.S. yields rebounded and risk appetite faded late in the NY session.
- Data beat failed to hold AUD/USD above 0.6450
- Market remains focused on 0.6300 demand vs 0.6500 offers
